Do you have what it takes to be a great trader? For college students who are either interested or passionate about the markets, SMBU is proud to be a sponsor for the 2014 Zolio Spring Trading Competition. Registration is still open for this multi campus-wide event that is set to kick off in February.

This is a great opportunity for young traders to work on their trading game in both a competitive and simulated environment. The multiple prizes being awarded vary from cash to exclusive networking sessions to our very own college training program.

One of our favorite aspects about this competition is that it rewards not only performance but the process as well. What defines exceptional trading is multi-dimensional: absolute return is important, but so is having a specific trading plan with well-defined risk parameters that executes on trading setups with a positive expectancy in the long run. This is a unique to opportunity to get a better understanding of trading and to explore all sides of the craft with hands-on experience in a fun setting.
