Unveiling the Best-Kept Secret: The Word Top Traders Use to Describe Their Trading Success

BellaBella Daily Update

There is a word that I keep reading over and over again from traders performing at their best.  And often this language is present in the reviews of elite traders.

Notice the language in this review below:

….overall feeling energized and confident for the month of April. Great opportunity at the moment, I just need to be in the right stocks and continue to push myself, as i did today in SLS.

Notice the language from another trader below:

Each week we'll send you 2 to 4 videos filled with prop trading secrets you can't find elsewhere.

I traded a lot of shares today, but I do feel as if the overtrading was mitigated a bit.  not staring at every tick on the tape in VXX helped, and also helped minimize fatigue. The other benefit of this was that I was able to hold parts of it for larger moves.  I feel much more energized and relaxed this afternoon.

Again this idea of feeling energized emerges in a trade review:

Pretty solid day mentally despite somewhat tough conditions to get anything going and a few minor mistakes.  Really had good energy and focus in terms of following my plan and sticking within my risk goals other than with PENN.

And again with an international trader with whom I work:

Worked hard on getting bigger in A+ trades which turned a poor day into a profitable one. Now repetition key.

Good preparation once again and I felt energised.

Often traders on our desk trade best when they feel energized.  They use this specific word.  It keeps coming up and up.  I have never taught traders to use this word to describe optimal trading so they are not parroting language they believe ought to be used.  It is a word I have observed naturally has come to describe the state with traders trading at their best.

If you feel energized to trade.  If you feel certain trading brings you energy.  You are on the right track.  Often this is how the best traders feel during their best trading.
