SMBU, an industry leading trading education company, is seeking a Director of Sales and Business Development to build an effective sales team, increase revenues, and enhance company growth. The position is located in our midtown Manhattan office, but our market is global, with approximately 60% of sales from the U.S and 40% from international sales.
As our Director of Sales and Business Development, you will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle as well as building and managing a sales team. You will also be expected to work with our marketing staff to develop sales campaigns that are effective and consistent with our brand. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate with the owners/partners of the firm on new and strategic business ideas that will help grow the company.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and persuasively are a must. Financial background is not necessary, but knowledge of the language and business of Trading, Hedge Funds, and Proprietary Trading Firms is preferred. Knowledge of Infusionsoft (or similar CRM) also helpful. Former trading experience a plus.
2 years minimum experience in sales.
Base salary plus commissions commensurate with experience.
