Hi Mike,
Great post. I have a couple of technical questions regarding the actual video taping process.
1. Are your traders using standard recording software such as Camtasia Studio that sits on every computer or are you using something not available off the shelf.
2. Is the recording running ALL the time in background on a traders computer or does the trader have to remember to turn it on/off before placing/exiting a trade?
3. Is the entire screen being recorded or just a part of it. And what happens when the trader uses multiple sceens in order to trade?
4. Does the videotape also include audio (i.e., ongoing commentary by the trader)
5. How do you keep track of all the footage at SMB given the number of traders you have. How easy is it for a trader to review a particular trade. And how far back does the footage go (i.e., does it get written over say every couple weeks/months).
6. What percentage of your traders would you say religously review their trades using video.
