This was an email our floor manager sent to our desk this AM:
Hello,
I will be in the office this Saturday morning from 1015AM-1PM. If anyone wants to spend a couple of hours in the office and prepare for the upcoming week I think this would be a great opportunity. I know the weather is going to be nice this weekend, but schedule a couple of hours to review your performance this month. Remember your performance is a reflection of preparation over a long period of time not just one weekend!!!

Re-member… your performance is a reflection of your preparation over a long period of time…
Ideally:
I would like to enact a weekly prep for the upcoming week –
– structure a MONTHLY REVIEW
– structure a QUARTERLY REVIEW
Then write out, edit, refine, and simplify a GOALS Worksheet – maybe a top 10 list or a top 3 list, or a rank ordering of priorities, all based upon feedback gotten from my higher executive integrative functioning Self received during my monthly/quarterly re-views (coupled then with affirmations and plans of actions — moving foreward (for the upcoming quarter, 6 months, year).
Why?
Because all of the above incorporate a principle of INTEGRATIVE BEHAVIORAL PRACTICE designed to keep one focused and on track.
This needs to be written into my business plan and adhered to. See adherence checklist…
Simple stuff. Nobody said it was going to be easy.
